WHERE TO GO IN WROCLAW? PART 1.

💡 In this post, we will tell you about some places in Wrocław that you should visit.

📍 Ratusz we Wrocławiu and rynek

The market square of Wrocław is the center of the life of the medieval city, where the main events took place.

Nowadays it is a meeting place, a place of rest and entertainment for citizens and guests of Wrocław. The square is the landmark of the city – the Wrocław Town Hall, built back in the 13th century.

The town hall is one of the best preserved historical monuments in Poland and is the most important architectural monument in Wroclaw.

📍 Wrocławskie neony

The club gallery is located at 46th Ruska Street. The inner courtyard of the club is decorated with neon signs that used to flaunt the streets of Wrocław, so it’s better to come here at night. 🌃

📍 Wyspa słodowa

A small, cozy island on the Odra River in the Stare Miasto district, that has remained virtually undeveloped and has the feel of a park.

It can be easily reached by one of the bridges connecting Malt Island with the “mainland” or neighboring islands. During the warmer months, residents come here for picnics. 🧺

Since 2013. Wrocław Center for Social Development holds various events here, including outdoor film screenings, dance workshops, and sports competitions. 🏀

📍 Politechnika wrocławska and Forma płynna

There is a wonderful green area near the Wrocław Polytechnic where you can sit down to relax on the promenade and play volleyball. 🏐

The place forma płynna has its own atmosphere, which is created by the trees and the hammocks and sun loungers spread between them. In the summertime, it’s the perfect place for a lazy afternoon with friends. “Chill-relax-jazz” is how visitors respond.

📍 Hydropolis.

Hydropolis is one of the most interesting museums not only in Wroclaw but in all of Poland. It is located in an architecturally significant building: a drinking water catchment built in 1893.

It was important for the founders of Hidropolis to reach children and youth. That is why modern multimedia technologies are used in the Center. The exhibition area is 4,000 m2, and 64 installations in 8 thematic zones are waiting for the guests.
